Hi Everyone,
Check out this fun feature from the NY Times on coffee. The artist illustrates his coffee journey on napkins using coffee. Enjoy!!!!

Well folks Christmas has come and gone and with 2009 just around the corner it’s been rather hectic! I certain hope you all had a wonderful holiday weekend because we here at The Cup sure did! The week before Christmas the Crimson Cup Coffee house had several events in a row to help get us in the spirit. Visit our MySpace page for pictures and details from the event.
In addition to celebrating Christmas at the coffee house, we at WWHQ (Crimson Cup Worldwide Headquarters) got into the holiday spirit through philanthropy. This year we decided to play secret santa and adopt a family in need. Cuppers banded together and purchased a multitude of gifts for every member of the family. After the presents were wrapped we placed them under a tree in our lobby. Knowing our gifts were going to a good cause and having the presents under the tree, helped everyone get into the holiday spirit.
How was your Holiday? Share your stories with us!
What can we do better?

Bryan Hairston
Simple enough question, right? The answer is what’s difficult though. For the 14 some odd years I have been a part of this community, Greg Ubert has coached us to ask this question of ourselves. There is one caveat…you need to be honest with the answer. That’s the hard part. It’s easy to rationalize and come up with the reasons why we are where we are or why we are not where we think we should be. Being honest with yourself can be a really hard thing to do, but it can be freeing as well. Once you begin to realize what you need to do to improve, the healing begins.
The holiday season is the perfect time for you to look around and be thankful. Take a few moments and ask yourself: What can I do better? Asking this question is 100% better than a new year’s resolution because, I assure you, some real goals will come. It may lead you to significantly improving your life and the lives of your family!
One last thing…I know it’s a few days early, but I wish you all a Merry Christmas! (and I am not afraid to be un-politically correct and say that!!!!) Make sure you take the time to reflect on this past year, hug all your family members (yes, even that weird uncle) and remember next year is like a blank notebook. Go write that novel…I can’t wait to read it!
…that’s the b side.
