<<CUSTOMER GROWTH MANAGER>> 

The Customer Growth Manager will be accountable for meeting and exceeding defined sales objectives in the coffee house market segment throughout the Midwest with existing customers.  Primary responsibilities include developing relationships with existing coffee house owners & operators to enhance their business, gathering market data, gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements, and consultatively sell.    This position reports to the Coffee House Sales Leader. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
  • Five years successful sales experience in consumer products oriented organizations with record of consistently meeting and exceeding goals and objectives
  • Food product sales experience working directly with company owner 
  • Specialty Coffee & Tea enthusiast
  • Results oriented, competitive, positive, ability and desire to sell
  • Capacity to analyze business operations and assist in devising effective strategic plans for company growth and optimization of profitability in market segment
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communications, commitment to customer, and follow through skills
  • Capacity to analyze business operations of prospects and customers so as to recommend effective programs, problem solutions, and increased utilization of company products and services
  • Strong leadership skills with capacity to successfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization and at all levels of customer organizations
  • Familiarity with small business owners a plus

 Responsibilities: 

  • Meet & exceed the year/year coffee house market segment sales objectives
  • Establish relationships with existing coffee house owners over the phone and in person
  • Gain clear understanding of company products and services
  • Gain clear understanding of coffee house operations and coffee house entrepreneurs and communicate this understanding with customers
  • Assist in developing sales & lead generation strategy
  • Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
  • Work closely with our training and coffee team to meet the needs of the coffee house market segment
  • Closely monitor industry trends, regularly secure market intelligence
  • Analyze results in areas of responsibility and take corrective action as required
  • Input customer communications on company CRM system
  • Travel within Ohio and outside of Ohio on occasion

<<COFFEE HOUSE MANAGER>> 

The Crimson Cup Coffee House manager oversees all processes and procedures within the four walls to create a WOW experience for everyone who enters the coffee house every time. This leader works d to meet and exceed all coffee house sales goals. They will hire and direct necessary training for existing and new staff and lead by example to coach the staff every day. The manager will create connections with customers, vendors and the coffee house crew to build strong community goodwill. Maintaining cleanliness, making sure all products are top-quality and relevant to the demanded menu mix and controlling labor and COGS are essentials for this role. The coffee house manager will review sales daily to share opportunities with the coffee house staff to maintain all sales goals. They must live the company culture through leadership at all levels at the coffee house.

The Assistant Manager contributes to Crimson Cup’s success by assisting the Manager in executing store sales and operational objectives. This position assists in supervising a team of Cuppers to create and maintain WOW customer experience. This leader works to assist the manager in meeting and exceeding all coffee house sales & profitability goals. They will assist in hiring and all necessary training as well as placing orders for the store and maintaining inventory.  This position reports to the Coffee House Manager.

 Qualifications:                                                                                                     

  • Minimum of one year supervisory experience in the retail, hospitality or restaurant industry
  • Specialty Coffee Lover
  • Approachable and timely with all forms of communications
  • Ability to resolve concerns from customers and associates
  • Math, accounting, and computer knowledge
  • Basic computer and interpersonal skills
  • Achievement Oriented
  • Pre-employment drug test/background check

 Responsibilities: 

  • Be knowledgeable about all coffee, tea and drink preparation
  • Lead team in delivering WOW customer experience for everyone who enters the coffee house, every time, and in being enthusiastic about specialty coffee & tea
  • Assist in Hiring, Training, and coaching coffee house staff to achieve outstanding customer service and sales & profitability objectives
  • Constantly review store environments and key business indicators to identify problems, concerns and opportunities for improvement
  • Demonstrates understanding of store financials and focusses team to increase store sales and operational efficiencies
  • Supports Manager in implementing company programs by working directly with the shift team to execute action plans that meet sales, operational, and organizational objectives

Description:
The Barista contributes to Crimson Cup’s success by assisting the Manager, Assistant Manager, and Shift Supervisor to achieve a WOW customer experience for everyone who enters the coffee house every time through efficient service, quality beverages and products, and a clean environment.This position reports to the Coffee House Manager.
