The person who fills this position will be the second ranking executive in the company behind the Founder & President.
Reporting Positions: Current staff of 4 to grow to 7 in short-term
Responsible for achieving and exceeding sales and customer service goals and objectives through establishing,implementing, and managing Sales and Customer Growth & Retention Service plans, business policies, operating programs, budgets, forecasts, and procedures, and leading and directing all sales and customer service personnel and resources; also responsible for providing inputs to overall company strategic plans.
—Develop and implement a sales plan including sales volume forecasts and selling expense budget, margin, product mix, sales personnel, and customer service objectives and other sales related metrics.
—Establish and utilize control and motivation systems and programs to insure that all sales goals and objectives are reached or exceeded.
—Develop, distribute, and insure adherence to policies and procedures covering all sales matters such as forecasting and reporting, pricing, new business development, customer retention,sales expense budgets, travel, customer communications, recruitment, training and evaluation of sales personnel, expenditure limits,hiring and firing authority, contractual commitments, and other related sales and customer service matters.
—Directly recruit, train, motivate, and evaluate a sales team of exceptional ability to insure consistent achievement and overachievement of sales goals.
—Maintain a high level of drive, innovation, commitment, morale, customer service, and teamwork among all employees in the company.
—Closely monitor industry trends, regularly secure market intelligence, and maintain professional contact with industry innovators and knowledge sources to insure that company Responsibilities: anticipates market moves and can quickly respond to changing customer needs.
—Plan, organize, and monitor an effective quoting operation to support sales goals and objectives.
—Analyze results in areas of responsibility and take corrective action as required.
—Represent the company as required in its relations with industry, market, financial, government, professional, and other company related groups.
—Perform other reasonable special projects assigned by Founder & President.
—Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required with MBA a plus.
—Minimum of ten years successful sales experience in highly customer service oriented organizations with record of consistently meeting and exceeding goals and objectives.
—Strong management, motivation, sales, and customer service skills required.
—Strong entrepreneurial orientation with innovative and creative thinking, clear vision and sound business judgment.
—Capacity to analyze business operations and assist in devising effective strategic plans for company growth and optimization of profitability.

The Finance and Accounting Lead will be accountable for the accounting operations of the company, to include the production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, a comprehensive set of controls, and cash management. In addition to these activities, the Finance and Accounting Lead will lead, participate and give guidance to major opportunities within the company both from a financial perspective and from an overall business perspective.

The Customer Growth Manager will be accountable for meeting and exceeding defined sales objectives in the coffee house market segment throughout the Midwest with existing customers. Primary responsibilities include developing relationships with existing coffee house owners & operators to enhance their business, gathering market data, gaining a clear understanding of customers’ businesses and requirements, and consultatively sell. This position reports to the Coffee House Sales Leader.
•Bachelor’s degree in business or related field required
•Five years successful sales experience in consumer products oriented organizations with record of consistently meeting and exceeding goals and objectives
•Specialty Coffee & Tea enthusiast
•Results oriented, competitive, positive, ability and desire to sell
•Capacity to analyze business operations and assist in devising effective strategic plans for company growth and optimization of profitability in market segement
•Exceptional interpersonal, communications, commitment to customer, and follow through skills
•Capacity to analyze business operations of prospects and customers so as to recommend effective programs, problem solutions, and increased utilization of company products and services
•Strong leadership skills with capacity to successfully interact with employees at all levels of the organization and at all levels of customer organizations
•Familiarity with small business owners a plus
•Meet & exceed the year/year coffee house market segment sales objectives
•Establish relationships with existing coffee house owners over the phone and in person
•Gain clear understanding of company products and services
•Gain clear understanding of coffee house operations and coffee house entrepreneurs and communicate this understanding with customers
•Assist in developing sales & lead generation strategy
•Advise on forthcoming product developments and discuss special promotions
•Work closely with our training and coffee team to meet the needs of the coffee house market segment
•Closely monitor industry trends, regularly secure market intelligence
•Analyze results in areas of responsibility and take corrective action as required
•Input customer communications on company CRM system
•Travel within Ohio and outside of Ohio on occasion
