THE OPERATIONS DIRECTOR IS ACCOUNTABLE FOR PRODUCING THE FOLLOWING RESULT:
To retain long-term, quality clients for the company through the development and implementation of production, product purchasing, inventory control systems, delivery systems, and quality control systems in accordance with our marketing message and contractual obligations, so that client expectations and the company’s financial standards are met or exceeded.
Reporting Poisitions Include: Customer Experience, Production Associates, Shipping & Receiving Associates, Accounting Associates and Coffee Roaster. This position reports to the Founder & President of the company.
Strategic Work:
1. Understand the organization’s structure, direction and goals and participate in strategic decisions.
2. Develop ongoing strategies (technology/procedures) for increased efficiencies in operations and order fulfillment to exceed customer/consumer expecations.
3. Create ongoing strategies to increase operational productivity through effective business methods.
4. Enhance business process, to ensure accurate and efficient delivery of orders and communicate the system requirements (ERP system: Netsuite to implement the process
5. Develop project plans, executing and managing efforts to ensure the quality of individual deliverables as well as the quality of the overall business value delivered. Work closely with internal business partners on all phases of development, actively managing changing priorities and scope
Tactical Work:
1. Run the day-to-day operations of Crimson Cup’s sales fulfillment to include: product procurement, inventory receipt, warehouse logistics, inventory controls, roasting operations, packaging and labeling, order management – from sales order to invoice for complete customer satisfaction.
2. Align business methods with the use of the company’s ERP system – Netsuite.
3. Hire, Fire, Train, Supervise, Evaluate operations team to adhere to the Crimson Cup culture and to maximize operational performance.
4. Document and analyze functions and current business process in all business areas including; inventory management, procurement activities, material management,accounts receivable/payable, general accounting, quality control, audit management, sales and customer experience. Interface with functional unit process owners and users to identify, define, and document operational needs and objectives, operational procedures, problems, input and output requirements.
5. Lead cross-functional team meetings to develop and implement business solutions and optimize operations. Conducts impact analysis of NetSuite system, upgrades and changes for department/functional areas, and evaluates systems and business processes.
6. Applies knowledge of NetSuite systems functionality and applications when participating in the analysis and translation of departmental business processes and user needs into deployed functionality with in NetSuite.
7. Maintain specific configuration settings and documentation for all NetSuite modules being utilized.
8. Coordinate ERP (Netsuite) reporting, train users and maintain appropriate levels of system access for all business process user roles.
9. Ongoing evaluation of software enhancements for best practice use within organization.
10. Handle operational issues including, but not limited to, risk management, shipment delays, clients dissatisfaction, and employee challenges.

Shipping / Warehouse Manager:

•Perform operational functions to meet daily shipping needs
•Operate forklift to receive inbound freight
•Stock and organize warehouse or direct the organization of the warehouse
•Plans, directs and coordinates the activities of the shipping department in an organized, safe and sanitary work environment that is
