Organic coffee is grown in 40 countries, using methods and materials with a low impact on the environment. This includes farming without synthetic pesticides or other prohibited substances as well as crop rotation to prevent erosion, the depletion of soil nutrients, and control for pests.
Fair Trade
Fair Trade Certification empowers farmers and farm workers to lift themselves out of poverty by investing in their farms and communities, protecting the environment, and developing the business skills needed to compete in the global marketplace. This certification provides farmers a guaranteed minimum floor price and promotes fair labor conditions and safe working conditions. Forced child labor is strictly prohibited.
