More College Students Waking Up to Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea

CCAD Loan Crane Cafe

This fall, even more students are kick-starting their studies with our handcrafted coffee and espresso drinks! The Columbus College of Art and Design, Ohio State University Mansfield Campus, and Oberlin College are the newest campuses to offer Crimson Cup beverages.

At CCAD, the café in the Loann Crane Center for Design offers handcrafted hot, iced, and frozen espresso-based drinks as well as a selection of food and grab-and-go items. Crimson Cup brewed coffees are available across the street in the P.O.D., below CCAD’s Design Square Apartments.

At the OSU Mansfield campus, students can enjoy Crimson Cup brewed coffee in the dining hall and a full line of expertly prepared hot, iced, and frozen espresso-based drinks at Cyber Café on the first floor of Ovalwood Hall.

We’ve opened two coffee bars at Oberlin College. Azariah’s Café in the Mudd Center offers a full-service espresso coffee bar with a complete line of frozen espresso drinks and smoothies. Continuing an Oberlin tradition, we handcraft “Mudd’s Mudd,” a dark-roasted drip coffee, blended especially for Oberlin. Mudd’s Mudd is the morning favorite of faculty and students alike. The Oberlin Skybar, housed at the renowned Oberlin Music Conservatory, serves drip coffee, straight shots of espresso and Crimson Cup’s handcrafted teas.

Nationwide, a growing number of students are hitting coffee shops before hitting the books. According to the NPD Group, which tracks trends in what Americans eat and drink, nearly 40 percent of 18- to 24-year-olds are turning to coffee, rather than caffeinated sodas, as their pick-me-up of choice.

We’re proud to help students fuel their studies with awesome handcrafted coffees! If you’d like to bring Crimson Cup to your college or university campus, give us a call at 888-800-9224 or fill out this form, and we’ll be in touch.
