All About Coffee: Our Coffee 701 Course

Love coffee? Want to learn more about this tasty and energizing beverage? Then enroll in our Coffee 701 course!

Coffee 701 offers an introduction to the history, cultivation and trade of the world’s number-one cash crop, beginning with the legend of an Arab goat-herd and his dancing goats. We’ll share stories gleaned from more than 25,000 miles of travel to coffee-growing countries in Central and South America, Africa and Asia.

This course is taught by Innovation Lab Ambassador Nate Bell.  With six years of overall coffee industry experience, he spent two years as manager of the Crimson Cup Coffee House in Clintonville before moving to the Innovation Lab.

Participants will taste award-winning Crimson Cup coffees. Cost is $25, and registration is limited to 12. Participants will receive a Crimson Cup mug and free drink card to redeem at Crimson Cup Coffee Houses.

The next course takes place Saturday, April 29 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Crimson Cup Innovation Lab, 700 Alum Creek Drive in Columbus.
