Second Crimson Cup Coffee House to Open in Upper Arlington

We’re excited to announce that our second company-owned Crimson Cup Coffee House will open early this summer at 2468 Northwest Blvd. in suburban Upper Arlington.

We don’t believe in cookie-cutter coffee shops, so our new space will offer a different experience than our Clintonville coffee house.

Our goal is to create an inviting community space offering innovative beverages for coffee and tea connoisseurs along with great espressos, mochas and blended drinks for the everyday coffee drinker.

We’re envisioning a welcoming environment where you can come to relax, meet your friends and family and unwind from the rest of the world while enjoying your preferred beverage.

To support the slow enjoyment of coffee, the Upper Arlington shop will not have a drive-thru window. Every aspect of the café will focus on providing a deeper coffee experience, starting with innovative equipment such as a Modbar.

An amped-up brew bar will support pour-over preparation of an expanded rotation of our signature Friend2Farmer direct trade and craft coffees. Over the past few years, we’ve focused on establishing direct trade relationships with small coffee farms. Our brew bar will offer more room to showcase the farmers’ hard work using slow coffee-brewing techniques that bring out the optimum flavor of each coffee bean.”

Several nitrogen and carbon dioxide taps will dispense our growing selection of cold-brew coffees and other beverages. The Columbus community has raved about our Dry Hopped Nitro, Hopped Holiday Nitro, and Cocoa Nib Nitro, and our innovation team is hard at work creating the next cold-brew sensations!

In addition to serving the Columbus community, the new coffee house will act as an innovation and testing lab for the community of independent coffee houses, cafés and bakeries that serve Crimson Cup beverages. We believe that communities are best served by locally owned coffee houses, so a big part of what we do focuses on supporting coffee entrepreneurs.
