Crimson Cup wins 2017 BBB Torch Award

Crimson Cup 2017 Torch Award for EthicsWe’re excited to announce that Crimson Cup has received a 2017 Torch Award for Ethics from the Better Business Bureau® (BBB) Center for Character Ethics®.  Our company is one of five award recipients to be honored at a luncheon event held Tuesday, November 14 at The Ohio Union on the campus of The Ohio State University in Columbus.

“Crimson Cup is thrilled to receive the Torch Awards for Ethics,” said Founder and President Greg Ubert. “The award highlights our commitment to operating in the spirit of trust, honesty and our dedication to our clients, staff and communities.”

Noting that Crimson Cup had previously received a Torch Award in 2006, Greg said he was especially pleased to be a two-time award recipient. “This is an affirmation of our continued dedication to ethics in every aspect of our operations,” he said.

“Our motto is ‘Coffee + Community,’ which we express by creating a value chain of mutual benefit that extends from coffee growers to our customers and coffee consumers,” he added. “We believe that our success is grounded in the prosperity of our suppliers, customers and the communities in which we do business.”

The BBB Torch Award was founded in 1994. This national award-winning “educate & recognize” program is the premier public recognition of organizations that intentionally pursue the BBB’s six TRUST! Principles. The award embodies BBB’s mission of advancing marketplace trust by honoring companies whose leaders demonstrate a high level of personal character and ensure that the organization’s practices meet the highest standards of ethics, and consequently generate trust. These companies generate a high level of trust among their employees, customers and their communities.
