Red Otter Coffee Brings Bold Brews to Kenmore, NY

Red Otter Coffee officially opened its doors at 3147A Delaware Ave. on June 6 — and the buzz hasn’t stopped since. The shop hosted a grand opening celebration July 15, with a line of eager customers stretching out the door.
With a welcoming, modern space and a passion for people-first coffee, Red Otter is quickly becoming a favorite gathering spot just north of Buffalo.
From Corporate Life to Community Coffee
Red Otter is the dream of married couple Victoria Mamat and Robert Nunnally, who left behind corporate careers to build something meaningful in their community. With Victoria’s background in food service and Robert running the shop full time, the duo envisioned a place where “a cup of coffee might just change the course of someone’s day.”
That’s the mission behind the name, the logo and every latte on the menu.
What You’ll Find Inside
The café now occupies the former Painted Lady Consignment shop. Inside, you’ll find 1,200 square feet of warm, modern charm — window bar seating, two-tops, and even a loveseat. It currently seats 20 guests, with plans to expand as the customer base grows.
On the menu? A full lineup of espresso drinks, teas and smoothies, plus local muffins, scones and cheesecake bites. All coffee is roasted and supplied by Crimson Cup, and every drink is handcrafted to order.

Victoria and Robert launched their dream with support from our 7 Steps to Success consulting program, which has helped open over 300 independent coffee shops nationwide. The couple leaned on the step-by-step process to go from “dream” to “grand opening.”
“The main thing we knew about opening a coffee shop was that we didn’t know what we were doing,” Robert said. “Crimson Cup gave us the structure, guidance and coaching we needed.”

One of the biggest wins? Learning how to lay out the space for efficiency and speed — something Red Otter prioritized from day one. From bar flow to customer seating, every inch of the shop is designed to support growth.

A New Favorite on Delaware Avenue
