December is a time to celebrate, and this year, 15 independent coffee shops across nine states have something special to cheer about – milestone anniversaries! From one year to 24 years in business, these coffee shops are thriving, thanks in part to Crimson Cup Coffee & Tea’s 7 Steps to Success program.

A Second-Generation Success Story: Coffee Amici
One of this month’s highlights is Coffee Amici in Findlay, Ohio, celebrating 22 years in business.
What began as John and Lynne Calvelage’s dream has now become a second-generation family business. In January, they proudly passed the reins to their son Patrick, ensuring Coffee Amici continues as a beloved community hub for years to come.
Since opening in December 2002, Coffee Amici has become a cornerstone of the community, offering top-notch espresso-based drinks, sweet treats and entertainment in an atmosphere that encourages connection and collaboration.
A fine arts coffeehouse, Coffee Amici is Findlay’s number one destination for live music. An open mic night attracts artists and musicians from the surrounding community every Friday.
John suggested that those looking for a coffee partner should consider Crimson Cup.
